Moda Preview: Tutti Rouge SS15

Next up in my Moda previews, Tutti Rouge‘s ‘High Hopes’ SS15 collection! This season is inspired by the feel of the fifties and the work of tattoo artist Sailor Jerry, featuring vivacious tones of sunshine yellow, cornflower blue, bright pinks, and charming shades of mint green and ivory. I have to say, this is possibly my favourite collection from Tutti Rouge yet.

Tutti Rouge Tallulah Tattoo Bra SS15

This is the signature piece of the collection, the outstanding Tallulah Tattoo, available in 28-38 D-HH. This is a half-padded balconette, constructed similarly to the previous Birds of a Feather, Evelyn, Rosa and Kitty styles. It features a fifties inspired tattoo print with highlights of deep pink and pacific blue, designed exclusively for Tutti Rouge. I honestly adore this fabric so much! This is one of the times I am definitely wishing I fit into Tutti Rouge’s size range. There will also be a matching brazilian brief available – I haven’t tried the brazilian cut before personally, but apparently it has been re-designed to give a more flattering shape at the back, which I’m sure will be good news for those who didn’t quite get along with it before.

Tutti Rouge Tallulah Sunshine SS15

The other colourway of the Tallulah, the Tallulah Sunshine, also in 28-38 D-HH. I was so happy to see this cheery shade of yellow cropping up in lots of different collections, and I love the contrasting pink lace – the colour combination reminds me of pink lemonade! For those that love unabashedly bright and cheery lingerie, I can see this being an easy favourite.

Tutti Rouge Beatrice SS15

This is the Beatrice, a style which was introduced last Spring in 28-38 D-HH. It is available this Spring in an absolutely perfect Spotted Mint colourway (right), and the Creme colourway (left), which I believe is unchanged from the current collection.

Tutti Rouge Liliana Sunshine Yellow SS15Tutti Rouge Liliana Pacific BlueTutti Rouge Liliana Hibiscus Pink SS15Next up is Tutti Rouge’s staple piece, the Liliana, which is available in 28-38 D-J and 40-44 D-F. These colourways are Sunshine Yellow, Pacific Blue and Hibiscus Pink. The sunny yellow is yet again a gorgeous choice for the Liliana, however, I think my favourite of these three has to be the (almost nautical) cool blue colourway, which will be a good option for those who want something a little less bright and bubbly. There will also be creme and black/pink colourways available (which I think are unchanged from the 2014 collections), as well as a new basic colourway of plain white, so there will be plenty of choice!

Tutti Rouge Nichole Creme SS15Tutti Rouge Nichole Hot Papaya 2 SS15Tutti Rouge Nichole Mint SS15

Another piece available in a variety of colours, the lovely Nichole, which will be available in 28-38 D-HH. It will be released in three colourways: Creme, Hot Papaya, and Mint. The first, Creme, is a stunning minimalist piece, combining a pale creamy base with contrasting black accents, with a gorgeous leopard print bow to the centre. The next is Hot Papaya, an eye-catching deep pink, and finally Mint, a very soft and sweet colourway, with ivory lace accents and a vintage floral print bow on the gore. I adore all of these colourways, and I think the mint is very much the style of my guest blogger, Rachael!

Tutti Rouge Janey Tropics Print SS15

Finally, what I think is the other big showstopper of the collection, the Janey in Tropics Print (28-38 D-HH). This is described as a half padded balconette bra, but I think this may be a mistake, as the construction looks quite similar to the Betty (padded, vertically seamed half-cup). There are so many lovely details to this bra! The ruffle under the band is perfection, and I love how this piece ties the whole collection together with its bold tropical print of soft blue, rich pink, sunny yellow and vivid greens.

As a fan of both bright colours and fifties fashion, it is safe to say that I personally adore just about every piece here! I love the theme, I love the colours, and most of all, I love the individuality. None of the other UK brands really take risks like Tutti Rouge, and I’m so glad that going into their third year, Tutti Rouge are still as unashamedly feminine and fun as they were when they started out.

So, what do you think of the new collection? Any stand-out pieces for you? Are Tutti Rouge your style? Let me know any thoughts in the comments below!
