Moda Preview: Panache SS16 (Including Panache Swim & Sport)

Next up, Panache! The Panache SS16 collection primarily features cool blues, soft blush and hot pink, with pops of orange and coral.

Panache Floris Floral Multi

Panache Georgia Blush Blue

Panache Andorra Bluebell

Cool blues are a strong colour for this collection, as shown in the Floris in Floral Multi (picture 1; 30-38 D-K), the Georgia in Blush/Blue (picture 2; 28-38 D-K), and the Andorra in Bluebell (picture 3; 28-40 D-J). I love the tattoo-esque print used on the Floris, and the combination of the blush pink base and pastel blue lace on the Georgia is a beautiful, delicate combination.

Panache Jasmine Blue Floral

Panache Jasmine Black Animal

Panache Jasmine Mosaic Print

Carrying on with the blue, the Jasmine will be available in two blue colourways of Blue Floral (picture 1) and Mosaic Print (picture 3), as well as the a darker, more sultry Black Animal (picture 2). I quite like the blue colourways for this, particularly the Portugese-pottery-inspired Mosaic Print. Available in 28 F-HH, 30-38 D-K.

Panache Clara Duck Egg Blue

Panache Clara Red Gold and Duck Egg Blue

Panache Clara Red Gold

The Clara continues the blue trend with this Duck Egg Blue colourway (pictures 1-2), as well as getting in on this season’s orange trend in Red Gold (pictures 2-3). The Duck Egg Blue colourway’s antique colour scheme gives a dainty and classic appearance, reminiscent of 18th century fashion.

Panache Hepburn Coral Catalogue

We then see further pops of orange tones, with the Tango in Grey Mix (picture 1; 28-40 D-K, 42 D-J, 44 DD-FF) and the Hepburn in Coral (picture 2; 30-40 D-K).

Panache Olivia Raspberry

Panache Envy Hot Pink Catalogue

Another big trend for SS16 is hot pink, which Panache are contributing to with the Olivia in Raspberry (picture 1; 30-38 D-K) and the similarly coloured Envy in Bright Pink (picture 2; 28 F-HH, 30-38 D-K).

Panache Thea Blush Floral Full

Panache Thea Blush Floral Close-up

Panache Nouveau Blush

Panache Elsie Shell Blush

Blush is one of my favourite colours for lingerie, used here for the three beautiful new styles. The first is the Thea in Blush Floral, a Floris-based balconette in this absolutely beautiful photographic floral in shades of pink, purple and coral (pictures 1-2; 30-38 D-K). The Nouveau in Blush is a Tango-based style, featuring much more delicate embroidery and detailing, in what is actually a very pale, ballet-esque pink (picture 3; 28-40 D-K, 42 D-J, 44 DD-FF). Finally, the Elsie in Shell/Blush, a moulded t-shirt bra in shades of blush and soft grey (picture 4; 30-38 D-G).

Panache Envy Body Nude Catalogue

Panache Cari Cashmere

Panache Porcelain Elan Moulded Non Padded Nude Catalogue

And finally, there are also some new basic styles in beige nude. The Envy bodysuit will be returning in Nude (pictures 1-2), now with a larger size range of 30-38 D-K. An exciting new style is the Cari in Cashmere (picture 3), a moulded spacer bra which looked very soft and comfortable, available in 28-38 bands and D-H cups. Finally, there will also be a new non-padded version of the Porcelain Élan moulded bra in Nude (picture 4), which I think sounds very interesting, and will be available in 28-38 bands and D-H cups.

Panache Sport Wired Bra Black Animal and Pink Marl Full

Panache Sport Wired Bra Black Animal

Panache Sport Wired Bra Pink Marl

Panache Sport Non Wired Bra Black Latte

The ever-popular Panache Sport will of course be returning, with the Wired version available in two new fashion colourways of Black Animal (pictures 1-2) and Pink Marl (pictures 2-3), 28-40 bands and B-J cups. The Non-Wired version will be available in these two new continuity colours of Black and Latte (picture 4), 28-40 bands and B-H cups. I love the sassy, citrussy Black Animal colourway for the Wired Sport, and the pops of purple detailing on the Black Non-Wired bra add a touch more excitement to an otherwise basic piece.

Panache Swim Britt Stripe Halter Bikini and High Waist Brief Navy White Full

Panache Swim Britt Stripe Halter Bikini and High Waist Brief Navy White Close-up

Panache Swim Portofino Balconette Swimsuit Navy White

Panache Swim Portofino Bandeau Navy White

Onto the swimwear! Navy and white is an ever-popular colour combination for swimwear, used here for the Britt Stripe (pictures 1-2) and the new Portofino (pictures 3-4). The Britt Stripe will be available in various options, including a bandeau bikini (30-38 D-G), a halter tankini and a halter bikini (bikini pictured, both 30-38 D-H). The sleek-and-sophisticated Portofino will be available as a balconette swimsuit (picture 3, 30-38 D-K), a bandeau bikini (picture 4, 30-38 D-G) and a moulded balconette bikini (not pictured, 30-38 D-H).

Panache Swim Rocha Balconette Tankini Mosaic Print

Panache Swim Rocha Bandeau and Sarong Mosaic Print CatalogueThe Rocha in Mosaic Print is a new style, available as a balconette tankini (picture 1; 30-38 D-J), a bandeau bikini (picture 2; 30-38 D-H) and a balconette bikini (not pictured; 30-38 D-K). In a first for Panache, this swimwear style features the same print as one of this season’s Jasmine colourways, bringing continuity between the lingerie and swimwear lines.

Panache Swim Annalise Moulded Balconette Tankini Butterfly Print

A new colourway for the Annalise, Butterfly Print, available as a moulded balconette tankini (pictured) and a moulded balconette bikini, both in 30-38 D-H. This style uses an interesting take on butterfly print, featuring high contrast, overlapping butterfly wings, giving an almost stained glass window effect.

Panache Swim Santorini Bandeau Swimsuit Monochrome Print

Panache Swim Santorini Balconette Bikini Monochrome Print

One of my favourite styles of the collection, the Santorini in Monochrome print, available as a bandeau swimsuit (picture 1; 30-38 D-G) and balconette bikini (picture 2; 30-38 D-K). Monochrome is always popular in swimwear, and I absolutely adore the design of the swimsuit!

Panache Swim Anya Stripe Bandeau Tankini Black White

Panache Swim Elle Bandeau Bikini White Floral

Panache Swim Elle Fold Pant Black White

Two styles which have to be shown together, the Anya in Black White (picture 1) and the Elle in White Floral (pictures 2-3). The Anya is a continuity range in black and white stripes, whereas the Elle is a fashion range, with a new colourway released each swimwear season. However, the Elle features the same stripe detailing as the Anya, meaning they can be mixed and matched. This means you can buy one piece from the Anya, and update it each season with something from Elle, something I thought was pretty cool! Anya is available as a bandeau bikini (30 DD-G, 32-38 D-G) and bandeau tankini (picture 1; 30 DD-G, 30-40 D-G); Elle is available as a balconette bikini (30 E-HH, 32-38 D-J) and bandeau bikini (picture 2; 30-38 D-H).

Panache Swim Venice Halter Swimsuit Emerald

Panache Swim Marina Bandeau White Turquoise Catalogue

Panache Swim Marina Bandeau White

Teal was another colour used throughout this collection, shown on the Venice in Emerald (picture 1) and the Marina in Turquoise (picture 2). Panache are also introducing the Marina in White, their first white bikini! I am pretty tentative about wearing white swimwear personally, but according to the rep we spoke to at Moda, every effort has been made to ensure this set won’t go see through, with this style being heavily tested by various staff members jumping in the shower at the office and wandering around. So hopefully they’re right about that! Venice available as a halter swimsuit and bikini in 30-38 D-H; Marina available as a bandeau bikini in 30-38 D-G.

Panache Swim Amelia Bandeau Blue Floral

Finally, the Amelia in Blue Floral, a new bandeau bikini style. Once again, Panache have gone for continuity between their lingerie and swimwear lines, with this style featuring the same floral print as one of this season’s Jasmine colourways. I love the draped/gathered fabric towards the centre, and the sky blue base makes me wish it was springtime already. Available as a bandeau bikini in sizes 30-38 D-G.

So, that’s the full range! As I’ve mentioned in other previews, I’m not a big fan of this season’s biggest colours of orange and pink (I’m much more of a teals and purples kinda gal!), so overall this isn’t my personal favourite collection from Panache, but I think this is a pretty solid collection nonetheless. Panache have followed most of the season’s biggest trends, with lots of variation in how that trend is interpreted. There are styles for the younger customer (e.g Floris, Olivia and Thea), as well as the mature customer (e.g. Clara, Portofino and Venice), with plenty of in-betweens to ensure there should be something for just about everyone.

What do you think of the collection? Any favourite pieces? Are you a fan of the pink and orange trend? Let me know any thoughts in the comments below!

  1. I really really hope the Georgia fits me, because I love the AW coming out soon and I love this SS version as well. I’ve been hoping for white swimwear for the past 5 years. I’m so bummed that the Marina only comes as a bandeau, which means only in the D-G range. I also really wanted an Envy bodysuit when it first came out in black and JJ-K cups got cancelled. Hopefully they’ll bring it back in the new extended range at some point.
