We’re nearly at the end of my previews for this season, and today I’ll be previewing Gossard! The Gossard SS16 collection is a beautiful little thing, primarily featuring shades of powder blue, orchid purple, sultry red, tangerine orange and bright pink.
My absolute favourite set of the collection, the VIP Lustful in Orchid. Available as a Padded Balcony (picture 3; 30 D-E, 32-36 A-E, 38 B-DD) and an unbelievably stunning Deep V bra (pictures 1, 2, 5; 32-36 A-D, 38 B-D).
This delectable purple shade continues onto the Dotty (picture 1) and Lacey (picture 2) in Radiant Orchid. Both available in 32-36 A-E, 38 B-DD.
Pink is big for this season, as seen here in the Animal Instinct in Black/Red (picture 1; 32-36 A-E, 38 B-DD) and Superboost Lace in Cabaret Pink (picture 2; 30 D-G, 32-36 A-G, 38 B-G). The Animal Instinct is a moulded plunge made with a raised velvet animal fabric – apparently this has been thoroughly wash and wear tested to ensure the fabric holds up over time, which is always good to hear!
Orange is also very on trend this season, especially when combined with pink, as seen in the VIP Amour in Red Hot (picture 1; 30 B-E, 32-36 A-E, 38 B-E). The older Glossies style will also return in Fiesta Red (picture 2; 30 D-G, 32-36 A-G, 38 B-G).
The old classic Gypsy returned in AW15, and SS16 will bring this Rouge colourway. Available as a padded balcony basque and bra (pictures 1 and 2; 30 D-E, 32-36 A-E, 38 B-E), as well as an unpadded bra (picture 3l 30 D-G, 32-36 A-G, 38 B-G). I love the stretch lace deep brief available with this, it looks so incredibly comfy!
The Entice, a moulded plunge available in 30 D-G, 32-36 A-G, 38 B-G. I love the suspender belt available with this!
A new addition to the Superboost Lace collection, the Bralet, currently only available in Black. While this collection does have a padded plunge, t-shirt bra and multiway bra up to a G cup, the Bralet will be available in 32-38 B-E. I love the lacy crossover back, and the front fastening longline construction is such a sultry choice.
A new practical collection, the Super Smooth Glamour Lace. Available in a Moulded Sweetheart Plunge and a Non Wired Moulded Plunge (both 30 D-E, 32-36 A-E, 38 B-E), as well as a Multiway Bra (30 D-E, 32-36 A-DD, 38 B-E). This seems to have a medium mocha coloured base, with the bottom section of the cups covered in light blush/beige fabric overlaid with black lace, which I think will make this a very sexy but practical piece for a large variety of skintones. Hopefully this will expand to a G cup, as it is a truly stunning style!
Another luxurious basic, the Luscious in Blush/Gold, available in 30 D-G, 32-36 A-G, 38 B-G. I love the shell embroidery on the mesh overlay, and the jewel droplet is a lovely little touch.
Finally, one of my other favourites of the season, the Harmony, a collection comprising both a lingerie set and loungewear. Available as a Moulded Plunge (picture 1; 30 D-G, 32-36 A-G, 38 B-G), a soft teddy (pictures 2-3), cami top and french knicker (picture 4), as well as the usual thong and short briefs (all sizes 8-16). I love the dreamy floral print, and the cloth buttons fastening the back of the teddy are just so perfect!
We also had the opportunity to see some pieces from Berlei! Berlei and Gossard are owned by the same company, and while I had never really paid much attention to them before, when we were told Berlei also had a few styles going up to a G cup, we decided to see what they had on offer.
The Beauty Style, shown in the continuity colourway of Black, and this season’s fashion colourway of Midnight Blue. This style is available as a Full Support Underwired Bra (30 D-F, 32-44 B-F) and Deep Brief in Black (picture 1) and Midnight Blue (picture 2), and a new Spacer T-Shirt Bra (34-40 B-FF) and Bikini Brief in Black (picture 3).
The Beauty Curve, available as a a Full Cup Bra (pictures 2-3; 30 D-F, 32-40 B-G) and a new Body (picture 1; 32-38 B-E). I love the look of this set! I love how the black embroidery against the beige mesh looks almost tattoo-esque, and the panel and stitching detailing is just stunning.
Finally, Berlei also have a range of sports bras. There are many more than this, but I believe this was the only one available up to a G cup. This is the Full Support Underwired Sports Bra in Wild Ones, available in 34-38 DD-G, 40 DD-FF, 42 DD-F).
Overall I think this is an absolutely stunning season from Gossard! The VIP Lustful has to be the most beautiful set I’ve seen from Gossard in a long time, and while it is a little saddening to see neither of the bra options for it reach a G cup, I’m happy that there are quite a few other options that do. I also love the amount of variation in styles, and I think Gossard have found a great balance of beauty and practicality in this collection.

Oh, I’m so dissappointed in the sizes for most of the new Gossards
I was pretty disappointed to see the lack of F-G options in the VIP collection, as well as in some of the new padded plunges which you would think would be available up to a G. There are more G cup styles than there were in SS15, so I’m glad about that, but it’s still a shame for the F-G cup Gossard fans.
You have been so prolific – I SO JEALOUS :DDDD I just took the longest hiatus for me (lol three weeks) but I am trying to get back to previews now. I just have so many reviews to write that I feel like I have my hands full of work! Btw, I almost forgot how amazing this new collection actually is – so drool-worthy! Miss ya, babe xx
Hahaha, three weeks is barely a hiatus :p I have so many reviews to write, it’s ridiculous. I’ve got most of the photographed already though, so hopefully I’ll manage to keep posting pace up! And I know! The Lustful is killing me. Every time I go on my site or facebook page, there it is, taunting me. Sigh.
I’m a lady, so I hope you don’t mind if I say that I miss seeing you try on clothes!
