If you were around last year, you might remember my introduction for Lepel London, a collaboration between Lepel and ASOS devised to offer bold, high fashion pieces, without compromising fit or your budget. At the time, their size range was limited to A-DD cups, something which disappointed many of you. Their sizing is still fairly limited, however, this season has a few styles going up to an F cup, which is definitely an improvement!
So, here’s Lepel London SS16! This collection from Lepel London features royal blue, soft blush, and mouthwatering brights, and will be released towards the end of March.
Paloma Padded Balcony in Electric Blue (30 C-F, 32-34 A-F and 36 A-E)
One of the F cup styles available is the Paloma balcony bra, available this season in a delectable royal blue. This is a new moulded cut, featuring a royal blue satin base, navy blue eyelash lace overlaying the band and cups, along with navy blue strappy detailing above the cups. This will also be available in Black.
Paloma Underwired Longline in Electric Blue (pictures 1-2; 30 C-DD, 32-34 A-DD, 36 A-D) ; Paloma Underwired Bra in Electric Blue (pictures 3-4; 30 C-D, 32-34 A-D, 36 A-C)
The Paloma will also return in the same longline and underwired styles from last season, in both the new ‘Electric Blue’ colourway and the current Black colourway. Both of these styles currently still have the same size range, though I am hoping this will change in future, as the Paloma longline is a truly gorgeous style!
Chelsea Diamond in Orange and Yellow (Sizes 6-14)
Orange is a huge colour for the SS16 season, and Lepel London are approaching it with the Chelsea Diamond bralette in shades of neon orange and lemon yellow.
Chelsea Diamond in Blush/Black (picture 1; sizes 6-14) ; Tiff Padded Balcony in Green/Blush (pictures 2-3; 30 C-DD, 32-34 A-DD, 36 A-D)
Blush is another popular colour for the season, used above in the Chelsea Diamond and Tiff. I love the combination of blush and black together, but I think the blush and apple green combination is an unexpected yet very fun way to go!
Tamara in Ivory (30 C-F, 32-34 A-F, 36 A-E)
The second F cup style of the season Tamara. I’ll be straight up and say that I am so happy this is one of the styles they’ve chosen to expand! The strappy trend has been around for a while now, but I think used with this ivory satin, it’s makes for a wonderfully classic, retro-esque piece.
Claudia in Black (30 C-F, 32-34 A-F, 36 A-E)
Finally, the Claudia! These pictures are from last season (as I didn’t get a picture of it this time), but this style will also be returning in Black, and is another style which will be available up to an F cup.
As I said at the top, this collection will be available from March. As with last season, matching briefs will be available for all of these pieces in sizes 6-14, with bras and briefs retailing for between £14-£24 and £6-10 respectively. Looking to the future, I can confirm that there will be G cups coming for AW16, and I can also say that they are absolutely gorgeous – but more on that later 😉 For now, I am just so excited to see a full bust brand working on providing something a little different!
