A few months ago, I tried out and reviewed the BM Gwiezdny Pył by Ewa Michalak in a 70JJ. However, not long after I bought it, the BM Miętusek was released, and (surprise surprise) I fell in love all over again! Given that I found the Gwiezdny Pył still had a little room in the cups, and knowing that black colourways frequently run smaller than lighter colourways, I decided the try out the Miętusek in a 70J.
The pastel colours of the Miętusek are reminiscent of ice cream, macarons and candy floss. The mint colour is light and fresh, and the baby pink bow on the gore adds just the perfect touch! Since I wasn’t 100% sure that the bra was going to fit me, I decided not to order the matching briefs, so I’m wearing the bra here with a pair of F&F brazilian briefs (which I think match quite well!). Luckily for me, this size fits beautifully. Continue reading →
Gossard is one of the longest standing full-bust brands in the UK, with gorgeous bras available in 30-44 bands and A-G cups. Rachael has reviewed various Gossard sets before, but unfortunately, with my 30K size, I don’t fit into their size range. However, as a lover of all kinds of lingerie, that doesn’t stop me from enjoying their separates! I am a huge fan of beautiful knickers and suspender belts, and when I saw the Iris set, I fell in love.
Luckily for me, Gossard kindly offered to send me the set! I received the Iris Waspie Suspender and Iris Thong in a size Large. The Iris collection includes a Half-Padded Plunge Bra available in 30-38 bands and A-E cups, which I did not get for obvious reasons. I usually choose to match my Iris pieces with my Masquerade Rhea, though I think they could easily match a wide variety of bras if needed. Continue reading →
Masquerade (also known as Harlequin) was the luxury brand of the Panache family, providing slightly more sultry, sexy and sophisticated options in sizes 28-38 D-H. Masquerade has since been rebranded as Panache Black and the available styles have been completely changed, but many of the older Masquerade styles are still floating around if you look for them. Obviously, with my usual Panache size of 30JJ, I’m a fair way out of Masquerade’s size range, but I had to know what I was missing out on. So, I decided to try out a couple of pieces in a 34H.
The first style I tried was the Masquerade Persia in Black, matched here with some high waisted briefs by Starline Lingerie. As the highest cup size available was an H, and Masquerade were often said to run firm in the band, I decided that a 34H (sister size to a 30J) might be my best shot for something wearable. TomboyX are an underwear and clothing brand, offering androgynous-styled pieces aimed at tomboy and queer women. The brand was launched in 2013 by Fran Dunaway and Naomi Gonzalez, a gay couple who saw the lack of non-feminine styles on the market, and decided to do something about it. They aim to empower women by providing comfortable, well-made, fashionable clothing that is neither ultra feminine nor super masculine. I was recently contacted by TomboyX asking if I would like to review any of their underwear, to which I gladly agreed!
There are currently five brief styles of different lengths available, covering standard briefs all the way through to 6.5″ inseam boxers. I was sent the “Tomboy Short” briefs in Plum, a new boxer brief style with a shorter 2.5″ inseam. Continue reading →
The Panache Floris was introduced a few seasons ago, and while I own many colourways and would describe it as one of my favourite bras, I haven’t yet gotten round to reviewing it! However, the Floris has been released for this season in an absolutely breathtaking Aurora colourway, and when Panache asked if there was anything I’d like to review from them, I knew exactly what it would have to be.
I would consider my usual size to be a 30K (70K in Ewa Michalak, 30JJ/32J in padded Curvy Kate), but I usually take a 30JJ in Panache, so this is a 30JJ with size 14 briefs. Continue reading →
