Bank Holiday Sales Round-Up (May 2016)

Hey lovelies! Sorry for the radio silence over here – those who follow me on social media will already know this, but I’ve been a bit out of action recently due to appendicitis and subsequent surgery, not to mention sorting for university exams and my new nephew arriving seven weeks early! Anyway, I’ve been working on a few posts and should be back to regular posting soon, but since it’s currently a bank holiday weekend here in the UK, many lingerie and clothing brands are offering bank holiday sales and discounts. Feeling Like a VIP in Gossard Iris

Gossard is one of the longest standing full-bust brands in the UK, with gorgeous bras available in 30-44 bands and A-G cups. Rachael has reviewed various Gossard sets before, but unfortunately, with my 30K size, I don’t fit into their size range. However, as a lover of all kinds of lingerie, that doesn’t stop me from enjoying their separates! I am a huge fan of beautiful knickers and suspender belts, and when I saw the Iris set, I fell in love.

Modelling the Gossard Iris Suspender and Thong, size large

Luckily for me, Gossard kindly offered to send me the set! I received the Iris Waspie Suspender and Iris Thong in a size Large. The Iris collection includes a Half-Padded Plunge Bra available in 30-38 bands and A-E cups, which I did not get for obvious reasons. I usually choose to match my Iris pieces with my Masquerade Rhea, though I think they could easily match a wide variety of bras if needed. Continue reading →

Review of the Coquette Powernet Bustier (14-16)

Today’s review is going to be something a little different! I was recently contacted by Sexcite, a newly established online adult retailer, asking if I would be interested in reviewing something from their lingerie department. At first I was skeptical – sexy lingerie is often not to my tastes, and finding something that fits my 30K bust well can be a real challenge. However, looking through their collections, I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was a wide range of pieces, with quite a few that really appealed to me!

After some umming and ahhing, I eventually settled on the Coquette Powernet Bustier. I hadn’t tried anything from Coquette Lingerie before, but a quick google search suggested that this style was generous in the bust, and I was pleased to find that this was the case! Continue reading →

What Katie Did ‘Morticia’ Corset

What Katie Did are a UK-based brand, who specialise in recreating a huge variety of vintage lingerie. While they sell everything from stockings to shapewear, what I lusted after for a long time was their selection of corsets – specifically, their Morticia corset. However, given the Morticia’s price tag of £159.50, I was sure that I would never be able to try it. What I wasn’t counting on was their post-Christmas sale, allowing me to bag my very own Morticia at a very reasonable price! And yes, I did mean post-Christmas – this review has been a long time coming! As you might have guessed from the above picture, I did recently have a just-for-fun photoshoot, so that gave me the push I needed to get around to writing this review. Continue reading →
