As my last few guest posts on here have been about Gossard bras I thought I’d switch it up a little and tell you all about my most favourite bra ever: the Freya Deco Carly. It may surprise you to know that I got this bra in 2011, that’s right THREE years ago! Although the band has stretched out a little I still absolutely adore this bra and don’t think I could ever bring myself to throw it away.
The appearance of the Carly is lovely; it’s overall white in colour with a black criss-crossing chain pattern printed on the base, a black lace trim overlaying the top of the cups, and beautiful teal velvet strips just below. Also on the bra sit 3 teal and black lace bows – two where the straps join the cups, and one on the gore. Continue reading →
My last Ewa Michalak review was of the S Wiśniówka over a year ago, and while I adored the bra and found it both stunning and supportive, my boobs grew and I stopped fitting into it seemingly immediately. While I have longed for more EMs ever since then, not knowing which size I’d need, the possibility of size inconsistencies, and the price of custom ordering kept putting me off. That is, until I saw some of the amazing styles that had been released, and last year’s SM Burek on sale. So, taking a risk, I ordered two bras in a 70K.
This is the absolutely stunning SM Burek. I have been in love with this bra ever since I first saw it, and looking at these pictures, I don’t think it’s hard to explain why! Larger-cupped versions of bras can easily end up losing their delicate appearance, but this bra manages to stay beautifully sweet and romantic in every size. Continue reading →
The Panache Jasmine is one of my favourite bras, and when I saw SS14 included a gorgeous animal print colourway, I knew I would have to get my hands on it! I already have it in both the Red/Floral and Bird Print colourways in a 30JJ, which I reviewed here earlier this year. I was planning on getting it in the same size again, but when I stumbled across a 30J for less than half price in an ASOS sale, I decided to risk it. This won’t be an in-depth review as I’ve already reviewed this style before, but I did find a few differences in fit which I thought I should write about.
Animal print always divides opinions – it seems you either hate it or you love it. Personally, I have become a huge fan of animal print over the years, so this colourway is right up my street. Continue reading →
