The Panache Olivia is a style I have longed for ever since I saw it at Moda back in August 2014. I was hugely tempted by the SS15 colourway of Apricot, and when I saw AW15’s colourway of Deep Jade, I knew I had to try it out. I had a bit of trouble locating my size from nearby stockists, but luckily for me, the lovely folks over at Panache offered to send it to me!
This is the Panache Olivia in Deep Jade, size 30JJ bra and 14 brief. Unlike many other sets, the Olivia only has one option for briefs, which is unfortunate if you’re more of a thong or short person. However, personally, I adore high-waisted briefs, so I’m pretty happy! Continue reading →
Today’s review is going to be something a little different! I was recently contacted by Sexcite, a newly established online adult retailer, asking if I would be interested in reviewing something from their lingerie department. At first I was skeptical – sexy lingerie is often not to my tastes, and finding something that fits my 30K bust well can be a real challenge. However, looking through their collections, I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was a wide range of pieces, with quite a few that really appealed to me!
A while back now, Ewa Michalak released the BM cut, an unpadded style featuring a stretch lace upper – a construction which I am always a huge fan of! So, of course, I had to try it out for myself. One style I was particularly lusting after was the BM Gwiezdny Pył, so I was overjoyed when one reader very kindly bought it off my wishlist. Here’s how I found it!
My usual size in the S and SM styles is 70K (32K), but due to the stretch lace upper, I decided to try this in a slightly smaller size of 70JJ (32JJ), with the size 42 (14) thong. Continue reading →
Avocado are a luxury Polish brand, with a range of designs oozing elegance and sophistication. Their sizing is slightly different from the UK’s, featuring 4cm jumps between cup sizes and bands that are firmer than average, so when they offered to send me something to review, it took a while to figure out what size would be best for me. At the time, my measurements were roughly 75cm snug underbust, 109cm standing bust, and 116cm leaning bust. Following the size guide, I first tried a 70K (the size suggested for a 110cm bust), which I later swapped for 70L (suggested for a 114cm bust).
Kris Line are a Polish brand, stocking bras in 65-100 (30-44) bands and A-KK cups. The brand has their own sizing system – each cup in Kris Line is based on a 2cm increase, compared to a one inch difference in UK brands. They also use an I cup between HH and J. I have been curious about Kris Line for a long time, but due to being a Polish brand, their bras are often very hard to find at reasonable prices in the UK. Recently, Brastop have got quite a few older season models in stock, including a couple up to a K cup.
The first bra I decided to try was the Selena Semi-soft Balconette, a half-padded underwired bra in green. Brastop skip the I cup, so a KL 70JJ is listed as a 32K to correspond with UK cups. I am around a 30KK in UK brands at the moment, so I decided to try the 32K to get a good comparison with UK brands. The measurements of both of the bras in this post are displayed at the bottom.
