Next up is Curvy Kate’s naughtier friend, Scantilly! The Scantilly AW16 collection is as bold and indulgent as the last, featuring rich shades of royal blue, blush, black and copper. As with last season, all bras are available in sizes 30-38 DD-HH, with separates in sizes S-XL, and these pieces will be released between July and September.
I recently visited Moda in Birmingham, where I was lucky enough to preview lots of the new collections coming for SS16. I’m going to be previewing them all, but I thought I’d start out with one of my favourite collections of the season, Scantilly! Scantilly is described as being “Curvy Kate’s naughtier friend”, and is designed to be a boudoir-wear collection for fuller busts. All sets are available in 30-38 DD-HH, S-XL, and this collection (Scantilly SS16) will be released this November, a month after the AW15 pieces (now available at Brastop).
If you follow many lingerie blogs, you may have realised that this time of year is when all the lingerie brands head to tradeshows to showcase what will be new from them next season. In fact, I’ve just gotten back from Moda, where I got to see lots of next year’s lovely SS16 pieces (more on that soon!), but for now I thought it might be nice to do a round-up of all of my favourite pieces coming out for AW15 – that is, anytime now!
Curvy Kate’s AW15 collection primarily features cranberry red, eyecatching oranges and golds, with some splashes of pixie green.
One of my firm favourites, this is the Ellace in Black/Champagne. This bra is Curvy Kate’s first foray into a balconette with a stretch lace upper (a design which seems to be becoming very popular!), which I am so excited to try out myself.
