Today I’ll be mainly covering some of the smaller ranged full-bust brands, starting with Gossard! The Gossard AW16 collection takes inspiration from Japan and China, primarily featuring shades of teal and cool blue set against ivory and dusky pink.
Gossard Japanese Rose Padded Plunge Robe in Tea (picture 1; sizes 8-16) ; Gossard Japanese Rose Padded Plunge Bra and Short in Tea (picture 1-3; 30 D-G, 32-36 A-G, 38 B-G & XS-XL) ; Gossard Gypsy High Apex Plunge Bra in Mykonos Blue (picture 4; 30 D-G, 32-36 A-G, 38 B-G)
Teal is a strong core colour for this collection, used here in the Japanese Rose and Gypsy (which I am still really hoping Gossard will rename). The Japanese Rose is definitely one of my highlights! This rich teal colour is always a favourite of mine, and this graphic floral print is so eyecatching and beautiful – I can see this being a really popular piece! In addition, Gossard are introducing a really lovely high apex plunge style to the G range, which will be replacing the current padded balcony bra style.
Gossard China Blue Soft Teddy in Floral Print (8-16) ; Gossard China Blue Padded Plunge Bra and Thong in Floral Print (30 D-G, 32-36 A-G, 38 B-G & XS-XL) ; Gossard China Blue Cami Top in Floral Print (8-16) ; Gossard Superboost Lace Plunge Bra in China Blue (30 D-G, 32-36 A-G, 38 B-G) ; Gossard Glossies Sheer Bra in Blue (30 D-G, 32-36 A-G, 38 B-G)
There is also lots of cool blue, as seen in the China Blue, Superboost Lace and Glossies ranges. The China Blue has to be another one of my favourites, with the range including a bra set, teddy, cami and french knickers. This is a really lovely style, featuring a watercolour floral in muted shades of sky blue and blush pink. This season, Gossard have opted to use digitally printed florals on their designs, which means that not only are they very beautifully detailed, but there are no issues with pattern matching across seams.
Gossard Superboost Lace Deep V Bralet in Purple (32-38 B-E) ; Gossard Glamour Lace Non Wired Plunge Bra in Red/Nude (30 D-E, 32-36 A-E, 38 B-E) ; Gossard Glossies Sheer Bra in Very Berry (30 D-G, 32-36 A-G, 38 B-G)
There will be several pieces in warmer berry shades, as seen in the Superboost Lace, Glamour Lace and Glossies ranges. The Superboost Lace Bralet in black was a big favourite of mine for SS16, and this berry purple is another winner for me! The Glamour Lace will also be available in its first fashion colourway of red/beige, though it will only be available in the sweetheart plunge and non-wired plunge (the multiway bra introduced in SS16 will only be available in black).
Gossard VIP Ornate Embroidery Padded Balconette Bra and Brief in Eclipse (pictures 1-2; 30 D-E, 32-36 A-E, 38 B-E & XS-XL); Gossard VIP Ornate Embroidery Waspie in Eclipse (pictures 2-3; XS-XL)
There will also be two new styles to the VIP range. The first is the VIP Ornate Embroidery, a beautiful midnight blue style featuring (as you may have guessed) ornate embroidery, rose gold hardware, and satin binding at the waist. I love coordinating waspies, and I think this one absolutely makes this set!
Gossard VIP Olympia Body in Black/Blue (8-16) ; Gossard VIP Olympia High Apex Plunge Bra in Black/Blue (30 D-G, 32-34 A-G, 36 A-FF, 38 B-F) ; Gossard VIP Olympia Bralette and Brazilian Suspender in Black/Blue (30 D-E, 32-36 A-E, 38 B-DD & XS-XL)
Finally, yet another favourite of mine, the VIP Olympia. This features black lace over teal satin, and I think every piece of this style is absolutely stunning – I don’t know where to start! Something unusual about this range is that every piece features a high apex (strap to cup attachment), which I think is really beautiful and striking. They also all use different levels of padding, with the bra featuring a full padded plunge bra, the body featuring a half-padded lower cup, and the bralette featuring a padded inner sling. They are all truly beautiful pieces, and I think anyone who likes this style will have a hard time choosing just one!
Overall I think it is quite possibly my favourite collection from Gossard yet! I love their decision to go with a really strong theme and core colours, as I think it gives a really lovely and cohesive collection, and the individual pieces are absolutely beautiful.
What do you think of the collection? Do you like the Japanese and Chinese influences? Any favourite pieces? Let me know any thoughts in the comments below!

I love them, too! I absolutely adore teal, and this collection uses such rich shades of it, and the floral prints are so beautiful.
