SIL Preview: Elomi AW16

The last Wacoal Eveden brand I’ll be covering is Elomi! I usually preview Elomi and Goddess together, however, this preview will mostly be of Elomi, as for some reason there was only one Goddess style available for me to look at. I’m not sure if the other samples were being shown elsewhere, or if Goddess are primarily focussing on continuity styles rather than fashion styles at the moment, but it’s something to keep in mind for this preview. The Elomi AW16 collection primarily features shades of teal, bright blue, red, brown and black, with pops of silver, pink and white.

Teal is a strong colour for this season, as shown in the Bijou and Portia. Let me start this preview by saying that this Bijou longline is quite possibly the prettiest style from Elomi I have ever seen. Look at it!!! The rich teal colour, the bold black piping above the cups, the scalloped lace overlay, it is just perfection. I also really liked the Portia – on first glance, the print looks almost like stained glass windows, but when looking closer, the details of the butterfly print really come out.

My Top Picks for AW15

If you follow many lingerie blogs, you may have realised that this time of year is when all the lingerie brands head to tradeshows to showcase what will be new from them next season. In fact, I’ve just gotten back from Moda, where I got to see lots of next year’s lovely SS16 pieces (more on that soon!), but for now I thought it might be nice to do a round-up of all of my favourite pieces coming out for AW15 – that is, anytime now!

Curvy Kate

Curvy Kate’s AW15 collection primarily features cranberry red, eyecatching oranges and golds, with some splashes of pixie green.

One of my firm favourites, this is the Ellace in Black/Champagne. This bra is Curvy Kate’s first foray into a balconette with a stretch lace upper (a design which seems to be becoming very popular!), which I am so excited to try out myself. Moda Previews: Elomi & Goddess SS15

I seem to be getting through these previews much slower than I was hoping, so let’s get started on the next! Elomi and Goddess are Wacoal/Eveden’s plus size ranges, which together cover 34-56 bands and B-K cups. Elomi’s SS15 collection features lots of bright blues, warm reds, pinks and purples. Goddess’s collection is much smaller, but again tones of pink and blue seem to be very popular.
