Today I’ll be mainly covering some of the smaller ranged full-bust brands, starting with Gossard! The Gossard AW16 collection takes inspiration from Japan and China, primarily featuring shades of teal and cool blue set against ivory and dusky pink.

Reinventing the Classics with Gossard
Editor’s note: Today’s review will be of the Gossard “Gypsy” set. While I understand that this set is a remake of a set made in the 1980s and is named as such, it would be extremely ignorant of me not to point out that G**** is a racial slur, still used against Rromani people today. It is not a synonym for bohemian, free spirit, hippie or anything like that, and to use it as a bra name is very trivialising of the Rromani experience. For this reason, the bra will be simply referred to as “G” throughout this review.
As you may know I recently received the Gossard Desire set (which I previously reviewed here), and I surprisingly received a second set, which was the Gossard G Non Padded Bra in Caramel with the matching Deep Short. The G is one of Gossard‘s iconic styles, originally introduced in the 80’s as the bra that “made men faint”. It’s been out of production for a while, but a few months ago, the style was modernised and re-released as a non-padded bra, padded bra and basque, in two continuity colourways of black and caramel.
My usual size is a 28G, but as always Gossard’s bands start at 30, and as I had heard this particular bra runs a little big, I decided to try out a 30F with XS briefs. Usually, the type of bras I go for are padded plunge sets (as I have quite close-set breasts I find the low gores work best for me) – but I unexpectedly love this non-padded bra! Continue reading
Decadence in Gossard Desire
Today’s post is going to be something of a first! When Gossard kindly sent me the Iris set to review, they also offered to send across the Desire collection, an absolutely beautiful style which has been on my mind ever since I saw it at Moda back in February. However, as the bra is not available in my size, Rachael and I decided that today, we would review the collection together.
The line includes a longline plunge bra, a high-waisted suspender brief, a brazilian suspender brief, and an unbelievably stunning sheer bodysuit. Let’s start with Rachael’s review! Continue reading
Feeling Like a VIP in Gossard Iris
Gossard is one of the longest standing full-bust brands in the UK, with gorgeous bras available in 30-44 bands and A-G cups. Rachael has reviewed various Gossard sets before, but unfortunately, with my 30K size, I don’t fit into their size range. However, as a lover of all kinds of lingerie, that doesn’t stop me from enjoying their separates! I am a huge fan of beautiful knickers and suspender belts, and when I saw the Iris set, I fell in love.
Luckily for me, Gossard kindly offered to send me the set! I received the Iris Waspie Suspender and Iris Thong in a size Large. The Iris collection includes a Half-Padded Plunge Bra available in 30-38 bands and A-E cups, which I did not get for obvious reasons. I usually choose to match my Iris pieces with my Masquerade Rhea, though I think they could easily match a wide variety of bras if needed. Continue reading
