The Ultimate Strappy Bra: Review of the Ewa Michalak S Przeplatanki (70K)

This review is one which has been a long time coming! The strappy bra trend has been around for a long time, but full-bust brands have taken much longer to join the trend. However, brands seem to be getting bolder with these designs every season, with more and more strappy bras are being released all the time. I’ve owned quite a few of them, but this bra is, to me, the absolute ultimate strappy bra. Dear readers, allow me to introduce: the Ewa Michalak S Przeplatanki.

If you haven’t come across this bra before, you’re probably a bit confused – I mean, where are the straps? My darlings, the straps are detachable and fully customisable. This bra can take you from work to a night out with ease, with more possible looks than I can even imagine. But I’m getting ahead of myself! Let’s start with the basics. I tried out this bra in my usual size of 70K (UK 32K). As this is the Ewa Michalak S style, the fit and construction is extremely similar to my other 70K S bras, such as the S Turkusowe Kfiaty I reviewed recently. Review of the Ewa Michalak BM Miętusek

A few months ago, I tried out and reviewed the BM Gwiezdny Pył by Ewa Michalak in a 70JJ. However, not long after I bought it, the BM Miętusek was released, and (surprise surprise) I fell in love all over again! Given that I found the Gwiezdny Pył still had a little room in the cups, and knowing that black colourways frequently run smaller than lighter colourways, I decided the try out the Miętusek in a 70J.

The pastel colours of the Miętusek are reminiscent of ice cream, macarons and candy floss. The mint colour is light and fresh, and the baby pink bow on the gore adds just the perfect touch! Since I wasn’t 100% sure that the bra was going to fit me, I decided not to order the matching briefs, so I’m wearing the bra here with a pair of F&F brazilian briefs (which I think match quite well!). Autumnal in Avocado

Avocado are a Polish brand that I have reviewed previously on the blog, and one that I think many UK readers have been curious about since they introduced international delivery. When I last tried Avocado, I found my closest fit was a 70L, though I would ideally wear a 65M/N if it was made. Avocado very kindly sent me another two bras to try out, which is what I’ll be reviewing today!

Besotted with Burek

My last Ewa Michalak review was of the S Wiśniówka over a year ago, and while I adored the bra and found it both stunning and supportive, my boobs grew and I stopped fitting into it seemingly immediately. While I have longed for more EMs ever since then, not knowing which size I’d need, the possibility of size inconsistencies, and the price of custom ordering kept putting me off. That is, until I saw some of the amazing styles that had been released, and last year’s SM Burek on sale. So, taking a risk, I ordered two bras in a 70K.

This is the absolutely stunning SM Burek. I have been in love with this bra ever since I first saw it, and looking at these pictures, I don’t think it’s hard to explain why! Larger-cupped versions of bras can easily end up losing their delicate appearance, but this bra manages to stay beautifully sweet and romantic in every size. Continue reading →

Luxurious Lingerie by Avocado

Avocado are a luxury Polish brand, with a range of designs oozing elegance and sophistication. Their sizing is slightly different from the UK’s, featuring 4cm jumps between cup sizes and bands that are firmer than average, so when they offered to send me something to review, it took a while to figure out what size would be best for me. At the time, my measurements were roughly 75cm snug underbust, 109cm standing bust, and 116cm leaning bust. Following the size guide, I first tried a 70K (the size suggested for a 110cm bust), which I later swapped for 70L (suggested for a 114cm bust).
